A traditional Tunisian recipe made from chickpeas which will leave everyone happy!

Step 1
Cut the bread into 1-inch thick slices and toast them. Next, cut the garlic cloves in half and rub on the toast. Finely dice the rest of the garlic.
Step 2
In a pot, mix 1 cup water per person, the bouillon cube, cumin, drained chickpeas, the rest of the garlic, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Cook the eggs in another pot of boiling water for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, place the eggs in cold water to stop the cooking. Delicately remove the shells.
Step 4
In a shallow dish, add the toast and pour some broth over it. Add the chickpeas, the egg (cut in half), salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Optional: Add some fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
Step 5
If you like spicy, add some harissa to the broth!
