Make sure you have...
Oven, Stovetop, Parchment paper, Frying pan
Step 1
If needed, defrost your beef patties. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Cut the potatoes into chips.
Step 2
Place them in a large bowl and cover with cold water.
Step 3
Place them in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil per person. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
Step 4
Put the fries on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 200°C.
Step 5
Halve the onions and finely slice them.
Step 6
In a bowl add the meat, season with salt, pepper. Knead and shape into steaks.
Step 7
5 minutes before the fries are done, cook the steaks in a very hot frying pan: 2 minutes on each side for rare.
Step 8
Once you've cooked the steak on one side, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Finish cooking according to your taste.
Step 9
Meanwhile toast the burger buns in the frying pan you cooked the steaks in: only for around 15 to 30 seconds so that they are lightly golden.
Step 10
Add sauce to the burger buns (mustard and/or ketchup), add the salad, the cooked steak, then the onions. Close the burger.
Step 11
Remove the potatoes from the oven.
Step 12
Serve the burger with the fries. Enjoy!
