Chocolate bar (baking)
Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave.

Egg

Step 2

Crack the eggs into a bowl.

Sugar (granulated)

Step 3

Add the sugar* and whisk until the mixture turns white. *Check out our tips for this step

Flour (all-purpose)

Step 4

Add the flour to the egg/sugar mixture and mix.

Step 5

Pour the chocolate and melted butter into the mixture and mix with a spatula.

Walnuts

Step 6

Add the crushed nuts and a pinch of salt.

Step 7

Place a sheet of parchment paper in the bottom of a rectangular baking pan (you can also grease with butter and flour) and pour in the batter. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C.

Step 8

Take the brownie out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, cut it into squares and enjoy!
