recipe

Banana
Egg
Butter

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. In the mixing bowl of the Thermomix, add : the peeled bananas, eggs & melted butter. Mix for 30 sec / speed 5.

Flour (all-purpose)
Raw cane sugar
Almond flour
Baking powder

Step 2

Add the flour, sugar,* ground almonds, baking powder & a pinch of salt. Mix for another 30 sec / speed 4. *Check out our tips for this step

Step 3

Generously grease a loaf tin (we used a 29 x 10 cm dish here) with butter & pour in the cake batter. Optional : top the banana bread with some chocolate chips, roughly chopped nuts or a sliced banana. Bake for 50 min at 180°C.

Step 4

Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Enjoy the banana bread cold or at room temperature - it is even tastier the next day !

If you wish to reduce sugar quantities, you can remove up to ⅓ of the sugar in this recipe without altering flavor.
