Pancetta (cubed)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cook the lardons or pancetta in a hot pan for 5 minutes, until golden.

Milk (whole)
Crème fraîche
Egg

Step 2

In a bowl, add the eggs, milk, crème fraîche, salt & pepper. Whisk until a smooth mixture forms.

Step 3

When the lardons or pancetta are browned, remove them from the heat. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Pie crust (ready-to-bake)

Step 4

Spread out the crust in a pie dish and prick it with a fork. Distribute the lardons or pancetta evenly over the crust.

Step 5

Pour in the egg-milk mixture. Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C, or until the filling has set. Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve with a side of salad & enjoy !
