Step 1

Cook the eggs in a large pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Once cooked, put the eggs in cold water to stop them cooking.

While the eggs are cooking, slice the tomatoes.

Grill the bacon on a high heat, 2 minutes on each side.

Spread the mayonnaise on two slices of bread, per person. On both slice, lay on the lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, emmenthal, eggs and bacon.

Cover the sandwich with the other slice of toast. Place 4 toothpicks in the four corners to hold the sandwich in place. Cut the sandwich in triangles. Serve!
