Cookeo, Peeler, Stovetop, Frying pan

Yellow onion

Step 1

Peel & slice the onions into thin strips.

Garlic

Step 2

In the Cookeo bowl, add : the onions, grated garlic & a drizzle of olive oil. Cook for 2 min on 'golden' mode.

Potato

Step 3

Meanwhile, peel & small dice the potatoes.

Corn (canned)
Turmeric (ground)
Vegetable bouillon (cube)

Step 4

Add the potatoes, drained sweetcorn, ground turmeric, stock cube & 180ml of water per person to the Cookeo bowl. Stir & cook for 20 min on 'pressure cooker' mode.

Bacon

Step 5

Meanwhile, in a hot pan, add the bacon strips. Grill for 2 min, over high heat, until golden & crispy. Set aside on a paper-lined plate.

Heavy cream

Step 6

Once cooked through, stir in the cream.

Basil (fresh)

Step 7

Serve the corn chowder in a bowl. Top with the crispy bacon & fresh basil, if you have some. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
