Oven
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll-out the pastry sheet onto a baking tray. Prick the surface using a fork & bake for 7 min, until lightly golden.
Step 2
Meanwhile, wash and slice the zucchini into thin rounds.
Step 3
Slice the goat's cheese into rounds.
Step 4
Prepare the herby crème fraîche. In a bowl, combine : the crème fraîche & the 'herbes de Provence'.
Step 5
Once the pastry is lightly golden, remove it from the oven. Spread the herby crème fraîche on top, leaving a 1-2 cm border all around.
Step 6
Arrange the zucchini slices on top in a spiral pattern. Season with salt & pepper & top with the crumbled goat's cheese slices.
Step 7
Sprinkle over with 'herbes de Provence' & a drizzle of olive oil. Bake for 30 min at 180°C, until golden brown.
Step 8
Once baked through, remove the tart from the oven & eat it warm with a side of green salad. Enjoy !
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest adding a teaspoon of grainy mustard to the crème fraîche & adding a drizzle of honey when serving.
