Yellow onion

Step 1

Peel then quarter the onions and place them in the Thermomix and mix for 4 sec / speed 5. Add a drizzle of olive oil and cook for 3 minutes / 100°C / speed 2.

Sweet potato

Step 2

Meanwhile, wash and peel the sweet potatoes and chop them into small cubes.

Vegetable bouillon (cube)

Step 3

Once the onions are browned, add 150g water per person, the coconut milk, turmeric, cumin, salt, pepper (optional: vegetable stock). Put the sweet potatoes in the Thermomix and cook for 10min / 100°C / reverse mode / speed 1.

Red lentils (dry)

Step 4

Add the lentils and cook for 15min / 100°C / reverse mode / speed 1.

Step 5

Meanwhile, cook the quinoa according to pack instructions. When cooked, drain and set to one side.

When the dahl is cooked, season to taste and serve with the quinoa (optional: add a few cilantro leaves if you have some). Enjoy!
