Apple

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.

Step 2

Tip: To avoid your apples from browning while cutting them, add them to a bowl of water with a little bit of lemon juice.

Step 3

Place the crust on a baking tray or in a pie tin. Pierce the crust a few times using a fork. Sprinkle half the sugar*. *Check out our tips for this step

Sugar (granulated)

Step 4

Add the apple slices in circles, keeping the smaller pieces for the center. Sprinkle with the rest of the sugar and add a pinch of salt.

Step 5

Optional: Add a few pieces of butter or sprinkle with cinnamon or nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, chopped walnuts...)

Step 6

Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C. Remove when the apples are golden. Enjoy!
