Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Peel then finely slice the onion.
Step 2
Cut the sausage into rounds.
Step 3
In a pan, add a drizzle of olive oil, the chopped onion and the sausage slices.* Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring. *Check out our tips for this step
Step 4
In a container, mix the vegetable stock cube with hot water (allow 150 ml of water per person).
Step 5
Once the sausages are lightly grilled, add the tomatoes, rice, vegetable stock and Provence herbs to the pan. Coarsely crush the tomatoes, pepper and mix.
Step 6
Cover and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat, checking for doneness. If necessary add water.
Step 7
Serve with a little chopped parsley if you have any. It's ready !
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest adding garlic & Cayenne pepper.
