Mirabelle plums

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash the mirabelles and cut them in half, removing the pit.

Puff pastry

Step 2

Place the dough on a baking sheet or in a pie dish. Poke some holes in the dough using a fork.

Sugar (granulated)

Step 3

Add half the sugar on the bottom of the tart. Optional: Sprinkle some almond meal.

Step 4

Add the mirabelles in a pattern (or not for a more rustic look!) and sprinkle with the rest of the sugar.

Step 5

Add a pinch of salt. Optional: Add a few dabs of butter on top of the mirabelles.

Step 6

If necessary, cut the parchment paper around the tart. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.

Step 7

Remove the tart and enjoy!
