Apple

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel and cut the apples into quarters, and then small pieces.

Corn starch
Vanilla sugar
Cinnamon (ground)

Step 2

Add the cut apples to a large bowl. Add the cornstarch, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon, and mix it all together.

Lay out the first pie crust in a pie dish or tin. Pour the apple mixture over the crust.

Lay out the second pie crust. Here's where your creativity comes in! Create your jack-o-lantern face by cutting holes into the crust. Make it scary! Then set aside.

Egg

Step 5

Crack an egg and reserve the yolk. Baste the edge of the pie crust in the tin with the yolk.

Step 6

Cover your pie with the jack-o-lantern crust and fold over the edges toward the center. Seal lightly by pressing with your fingers.

Step 7

Basted the top of the pie with the rest of the egg yolk, then bake at 180°C for 1 hour.

Step 8

Take it out of the oven and enjoy!
