Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Take the taco shells out of the package. Prepare your toppings and spices and set aside.
Step 2
Peel and finely mince the red onion.
Step 3
In a skillet over high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and the red onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add the ground beef and let cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
Step 4
Add the spices and about 3 tablespoons of water per person to the skillet. Stir and let it all simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
While it cooks, place the taco shells on a baking sheet and warm for 3 minutes at 180°C.
Step 6
In a bowl, mix the sour cream & lime juice.
Step 7
Add the beef to the taco shells. Then add your toppings: lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Enjoy!
