Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Peel & slice the onions into thin strips.
Step 2
Wash & slice the mushrooms.
Step 3
Slice the chicken into strips.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add the onions & mushroom. Season with salt & pepper & sauté for 4-5 min, stirring. Set aside.
Step 5
In the same pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil, over medium heat. Add the chicken. Season with salt & pepper & cook for 4-5 min, until golden.
Step 6
Add the mushrooms & onions back to the pan with the chicken & stir for another min.
Step 7
Add the whole grain mustard & cream to the pan. Simmer for another 3-4 min, over low heat, while stirring.
Step 8
Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to package instructions.
Step 9
Serve the fluffy rice with creamy mustard chicken. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
