Step 1
If needed, defrost your cod. Peel the potatoes, wash and chop them in half
Step 2
Fill the mixing bowl with 500 ml water. Add the potatoes to the cooking bowl. Put the cooking bowl into the mixing bowl, insert the measuring cup and cook for 20 min / steam setting.
Step 3
Meanwhile, finely chop the shallot. Brown it in half the butter for 4 minutes. Add the white wine, capers and the lemon juice. Warm over a very low heat for the rest of the cooking. Then, set to one side.
Step 4
In the same frying pan, fry the cod with a knob of butter for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Remove the cooking basket, pour out any water from the mixing bowl and put in the cooked potatoes in it. Add the milk and butter, and put the measuring cup back in. Mix for 5 sec / speed 6.
Step 6
Add the mashed potato to a plate with the cod and pour the caper butter on top. Season with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
