Impress the whole family with this great dish that's super simple to make!

Step 1
If needed, defrost your cod. Peel and dice the potatoes.
Step 2
Boil a pot of hot water, add the potatoes to the pot and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, finely chop the shallot. Brown it in half the butter for 4 minutes. Add the white wine, capers and the lemon juice. Warm over a very low heat for the rest of the cooking.
Step 4
Stop cooking the potatoes: they should be tender. (Cook for 2 more minutes if this is not the case). Using a fork, mash the potatoes with the milk and the other half of the butter and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
In a frying pan, fry the cod with a knob of butter for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 6
Serve the mashed potato with the cod and pour the caper butter on top. Season with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
