A burger with Italian flavors & a delicious pesto !
Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Oven, Colander, Parchment paper, Frying pan
Step 1
If needed, defrost your beef patties. Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut the potatoes into fries.
Step 2
Rinse the cut potatoes under cold water and drain.
Step 3
Place them in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil per person, salt & pepper, and mix. Optional: add dried oregano
Step 4
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 200°C for 40 minutes.
Step 5
In the meantime, wash and cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
Step 6
Add the ground beef and salt & pepper and form into burger patties.
Step 7
5 minutes before taking the fries out of the oven, cook the patties in a hot pan for 2 minutes on one side.
Step 8
Flip the patties and add the mozzarella on top. Finish cooking until the meat is cooked to your liking.
Step 9
Toast the buns for 15-30 seconds.
Step 10
Place the patty on the bun, add sliced tomato, greens and spread the pesto on the top part of the bun before closing the burger.
Step 11
Serve with the fries and enjoy!
