Veggies + cream cheese + bacon = one gourmet quiche !
Oven, Whisk, Tart pan, Pot (small), Stovetop
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash & slice the broccoli into florets.* *Check out our tips for this step
Step 2
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the broccoli for 2-3 min.
Step 3
Meanwhile, roll the dough out into a tart pan. Prick the dough using a fork & par-bake for 5 min at 180°C.
Step 4
Once lightly tender, drain the broccoli.
Step 5
Prepare the quiche mixture. In a mixing bowl, add : the eggs, crème fraîche & milk. Season with salt & pepper & whisk vigorously.
Step 6
Once par-baked, remove the crust from the oven.
Step 7
Spread the broccoli florets onto the pie crust, then add the bacon bits. Pour the quiche mixture overtop.
Step 8
Garnish with spoonfuls of cream cheese & season with freshly grated pepper. Bake for 40 min at 180°C.
Step 9
Once golden brown & cooked through, remove the quiche from the oven. Serve with a side of green salad & enjoy !
