Bacon

Step 1

Cook the bacon in a pan on medium heat until crispy.

Step 2

Once crispy, remove and place on a paper towel to absorb any extra grease. Keep the pan to use for the grilled cheese.

White bread (sliced)
Whole grain mustard
Onion jam
Brie (round)

Step 3

Spread the mustard on each piece of bread. Add the sliced brie and bacon on one half and the onion jam on the other half.

Arugula

Step 4

Add a handful of arugula and close the sandwiches. Make one sandwich per person.

Step 5

Using the same pan that you cooked the bacon in, add a dab of butter (or olive oil) and cook the grilled cheese for 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Make sure not to burn them!

Step 6

Turn off the heat, cover the pan and let it rest for 1 minute off of the heat.

Step 7

Cut the sandwiches while they're still hot and enjoy!
