This savory cake makes a great finger food for parties!

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, add : the flour & baking powder. Whisk to combine.
Step 2
Add the eggs. Season with salt, pepper & whisk to combine.
Step 3
Add the olive oil & whisk to combine. Add the milk & whisk once more, to obtain a smooth batter.
Step 4
Add : the grated cheese, bacon bits, crumbled blue cheese & crushed walnuts (set some aside to decorate the loaf). Stir to combine, using a spatula.
Step 5
Grease a loaf tin (we used a 29 x 10 cm dish here) & line it with parchment paper. Pour the cake batter into the tin & garnish it with the reserved crumbled blue cheese & chopped walnuts. Bake for 40 min at 180°C.
Step 6
Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Enjoy the Walnut, Bacon & Blue Cheese Loaf with a green salad !
