Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the tomatoes in half.
Step 2
In a pan, melt the sugar and balsamic vinegar, and let bubble for 1 min.
Step 3
Add the tomatoes and cook on low heat for 5 min on each side. Season with salt & pepper.
Step 4
Add a layer of parchment paper to a pie dish & add the tomatoes in one layer.
Step 5
Top with the pie crust, folding the edges inward. Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C. Remove from the oven when golden brown.
Step 6
Let cool for 5-10 min before flipping. Place a large plate on top of the pie dish & holding together, flip in one swift move. Enjoy !
