Stovetop, Frying pan, Skewers
Step 1
Cut the turkey (or chicken) into 2 to 3 cm cubes.
Step 2
Mix in the tandoori spices and some salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3
Slide the meat onto skewers (if you have some).* *Check out our tips for this step
Step 4
Wash and roughly chop the cucumber.
Step 5
Wash and remove the mint leaves, finely chopping them. Set to one side.
Step 6
Prepare the raïta: mix the cucumber, mint, yogurt, salt, pepper.
Step 7
Heat some olive oil in a frying pan on a low heat, add the skewers (or meat directly) and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until they are golden. Turn them often for an even cook.
Step 8
Cover for more tender chicken.
Step 9
Serve the skewers with the raita.
If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 min before grilling to prevent burning.
