The classic French combo of spinach and goat cheese, together in a simple, delectable quiche!
Oven, Microwave, Whisk, Tart pan
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Defrost the spinach according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the crème fraîche, salt & pepper. Add the spinach and half of the crumbled goat cheese and gently mix.
Step 3
Roll out the pie crust into a baking dish (cut off any extra dough that hangs over the side or leave it for a more rustic look.) Poke the bottom of the pie crust with a fork and then pour in the egg mixture.
Step 4
Cut the rest of the goat cheese into slices and place them on the top of the egg mixture*. Bake the quiche at 200°C for 40 minutes. Serve alone or with a salad. Enjoy! *Check out our tips for this step
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest spreading mustard on the pie dough & adding smoked salmon, bacon or sun-dried tomatoes to the quiche filling.
