This might not be a traditional paëlla, but it's quick & as delicious !
Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Pot (small), Colander, Frying pan
Step 1
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the rice according to the package instructions. Drain once cooked.
Step 2
Slice the chorizo into thin rounds..
Step 3
Peel & finely dice the onions.
Step 4
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan. Add the onions & the chorizo. Cook for 5 minutes, over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Add the peas, rice & a paprika, if using, into the pan. Season with pepper & mix to combine. Cook for another 4-5 min, stirring frequently, until the rice it lightly brown & toasted.
Step 6
Serve the paëlla in a plate & enjoy !
For truly flavoursome dish, we suggest adding chicken or seafood, to change things up a bit.
