Bell pepper (red)

Step 1

Wash & halve the peppers, removing the heart & seeds. Thinly slice, then cut the slices into halves.

Step 2

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add the peppers & sauté for 5 min, stirring. Add a splash of water, cover & leave to simmer for another 5 min, over low heat.

Chickpeas (canned)
Allspice (ground)

Step 3

Drain the chickpeas & add them to the pan with the peppers. Season with salt, pepper & all-spice. Stir to evenly coat. Cover & leave to simmer for 5-7 min, over low heat.

Parsley (fresh)

Step 4

Remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped parsley. Serve the Spanish chickpeas & peppers in a plate* & re-season to taste. Enjoy ! *Check out our tips for this step
