Step 1
Place the almonds in the mixing bowl, blend for 3 seconds on speed 5 and put to the side.
Step 2
Put the onion in the bowl and blend for 5 seconds on speed 5. Scrape the sides with a spatula.
Step 3
Add half of the curry powder, the cardamom, and a drizzle of olive oil, and sauté for 3 min at 120°C on speed 1.
Step 4
MIx the rice, raisins and almonds together. Put all the ingredients in the bowl. Pour in 1 liter of water and attach the bowl to the machine.
Step 5
Cook for 5 minutes at 100°C on speed 4. Crumple a sheet of parchment paper, rinse it under water, drain it, then place it on the steam tray.
Step 6
Mix the coconut milk with the remainder of the curry, season with salt and pepper, and put the shrimps on the Varoma tray. Cover them with the coconut milk curry mixture.
Step 7
Add the Varoma unit onto the bowl and continue cooking for 10 minutes on the Varoma setting, on speed 4. Serve the rice with the shrimp and curry. Enjoy!
