Gnocchi goes with everything! Here's the proof!
Stovetop, Colander, Pot (small), Frying pan
Step 1
Cut the base of the brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Place them in a colander and rinse well.
Step 2
Add the brussels sprouts to a pot of boiling water, cover and cook for 8 minutes. If using frozen brussels sprouts, cook for 6 minutes.
Step 3
After 8 minutes, insert a knife into the brussels sprouts to test if done. The knife should go in easily! Drain and set aside.
Step 4
In a pan on medium-high heat, add the butter, brussels sprouts and gnocchi. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Season with salt & pepper.
Step 5
Add two tablespoons of water (per person) to the pan, cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Step 6
Once the water has evaporated, remove from heat.
Step 7
Serve with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
