Brussels sprouts (fresh)

Step 1

Cut the base off of the Brussels sprouts and then cut in half. Place them in a strainer and rinse until water runs clear.

Step 2

Boil a pot of water with a pinch of salt and add the Brussels sprouts. Cook for 4-5 minutes and drain.

Pancetta (cubed)

Step 3

If not already cut into small strips, cut the bacon into 1/2 inch pieces. In a pan on medium-high heat, sauté the bacon.

Step 4

Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan with the bacon and cook together on high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Season and enjoy!
