Step 1
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, lemon juice and zest, and chopped chives (if using). Add salt and pepper.
Step 2
Cut the avocado in half and then in thin slices.
Step 3
Spread cling film on your workspace. Lay down one to two slices of smoked salmon to make a rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the salmon. Add the avocado slices.
Step 4
Roll it all together using the cling film to create a tight roll. Chill 30 minutes in the refrigerator if desired.
Step 5
Unroll the cling film and cut the roll into small slices about 2 cm wide
Step 6
Place the rolls on a plate and sprinkle with lemon zest and chives if you have any left over. Add salt and pepper. Enjoy!
