Make sure you have...
Oven, Blender
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash & slice the tomatoes into quarters.
Step 2
Peel & cut the red onions into quarters.
Step 3
Add tomatoes, onions, garlic & rosemary to a baking dish. Add salt, pepper & a good drizzle of olive oil. Bake for 35-40 min at 200°C.
Step 4
Once the vegetables are well-cooked & browned, remove the dish from the oven.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes & roasted onions to a blender. Squeeze in the roasted garlic & add the previously washed basil leaves. Mix everything until smooth* It's ready! *Consult our tips for this step
To keep your tomato sauce longer, pour it into sterilized jars. Seal the jars tightly and store them away from light and heat. Consume them within 12 months!
