So simple but so delicious... Why haven't we thought of melting cheese in a pumpkin before?

Oven, Baking dish
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash the pumpkin carefully and cut off the cap.
Step 2
Scoop out the inside of the pumpkin with a spoon.
Step 3
Grate or chop the garlic clove over a small bowl. Add a drizzle of olive oil and mix.
Step 4
Place the pumpkin with its cap in a baking dish. Brush the inside with the garlic oil and sprinkle with thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Bake the pumpkin for 40 minutes at 200°C.
Step 6
Once the 40 minutes are up, remove the pumpkin from the oven and spoon the Mont d'Or inside. Bake a second time for 20 minutes at 200°C.
Step 7
Meanwhile, cut the bread into slices or croutons. Place them on a baking sheet, add a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of thyme and salt. Mix.
Step 8
Put the croutons in the oven 4 minutes before the end of the cooking time of the pumpkin.
Step 9
Take it out of the oven, dip the croutons in the melted cheese, it's ready!
