Italian pork sausage (ground)

Step 1

Add the sausage meat and grated garlic to a hot pan.

Step 2

Season with salt & pepper and mix for 5 minutes on high heat.

Tomatoes (canned, peeled)

Step 3

Add the canned tomatoes, mix and cook for another 5 minutes.

Basil (fresh)

Step 4

After 5 minutes, add the basil, mix and cook on low while preparing the polenta.

Milk (whole)

Step 5

Boil the milk in a pot.

Step 6

Once the milk is hot, slowly add the polenta while stirring with a whisk. Continue to whisk for 3-4 minutes, until creamy.

Parmesan (grated)

Step 7

Season with salt & pepper, add the grated parmesan and a little more milk if too thick.

Step 8

Serve the polenta in dishes with the ragu on top. Add some extra grated parmesan and basil. Enjoy!
