Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Take the butter out of the fridge so gets to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Flour (all-purpose)
Butter (unsalted)
Sugar (granulated)

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, add: the flour, the sugar*, a pinch of salt and the butter. Mix for 10 sec / speed 6 until you have a sandy texture. *Check out our tps for this step

Step 3

Wash and peel the pears. Chop them into quarters and then cubes.

Step 4

Break up the chocolate and add it to the dough.

Step 5

Add the fruits to an oven-proof dish, a proportionate size to the quantity of fruit. The ideal amount of fruit should be a 4-5cm layer. Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes

Step 6

Remove the crumble when the top is nice and golden. Eat hot or cold, alone or with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of crème fraîche.
