Step 1
Preheat the broiler. Wash and thinly slice the pear.
Step 2
Cut the brie into slices.* *Check out our tips for this step
Step 3
Place the slices of bread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with the brie and pear.
Step 4
Drizzle with honey and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Place under the broiler for 10 minutes; keep an eye on the sandwiches so they don't burn! The pears should be lightly browned around the edges.
Step 6
Serve with a green salad. (Optional: Sprinkle some pine nuts on top.)
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest swapping the brie with some other cheeses, the liked of Saint-Marcelin, Morbier or Brie de Meaux.
