Step 1

Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Tip: Reserve a bit of the cooking water when draining the pasta.

Peel and mince the garlic.

Parmesan

Step 3

Place the basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and parmesan In a blender. Add salt to taste and process to form a paste.

Step 4

Mix the pasta together with the pesto, some grated parmesan and a bit of the pasta cooking water. It's ready — buon appetite! Optional: Top the finished pasta with some toasted pine nuts and fresh basil leaves.
