Stovetop, Pot (small), Frying pan

Pasta (tagliatelle dry)

Step 1

In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta accroding to package instructions. Once 'al dente', reserve a ladle of pasta cooking water & strain the pasta.

Butter
Heavy cream

Step 2

In a hot pan, over low heat, add : the butter, heavy cream & reserved pasta water. Cook, stirring gently, until the butter has melted & the sauce is creamy.

Parmesan (grated)

Step 3

Add in the drained pasta & grated parmesan cheese. Stir & cook for 2-3 min, until the sauce has thickened.

Step 4

Serve the Alfredo pasta in a plate or a bowl, topped with additional parmesan & black pepper, if desired. Enjoy !
