Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Frying pan, Colander, Stovetop, Pot (small)
Step 1
Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts. Cut them in half, then place them in a colander & rinse well.
Step 2
Peel, then dice the onions.
Step 3
In a pot of salted boiling water, add the Brussels sprouts, cover with a lid & cook for 8 min. Once cooked through, drain well.
Step 4
In a hot pan, add the bacon & cook for 5-6 min, over high heat.
Step 5
Add the Brussels sprouts & grated garlic to the pan & continue cooking for 5 minutes*. Season with salt, pepper & 'herbes de Provence'. *Check out our tips for this step
Step 6
Serve the Pan-Fried Brussels sprouts & Bacon on a plate. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest glazing the Brussels sprouts with some soya sauce & honey.
