Oven, Stovetop, Tart pan, Whisk, Frying pan
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash and chop the mushrooms finely.
Step 2
Add them to a pan on high heat with a drizzle of olive oil and brown for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
Step 3
Unroll the pie crust and press it into a pie plate. Pierce it a few times using a fork.
Step 4
Once the oven has preheated, cook the crust for 5 minutes.
Step 5
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt and pepper.
Step 6
Once the mushrooms are golden brown, season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat.
Step 7
Take the crust out of the oven, evenly distribute the mushrooms and grated cheese in the bottom.
Step 8
Pour the egg mixture over the top.
Step 9
Optional: add a few sprigs of rosemary or thyme.
Step 10
Season with pepper and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Step 11
Serve with a green salad and enjoy!
