Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Optional: Mince the shallot, if you have any. Clean the mushrooms, then slice them thinly.
Step 2
Melt a teaspoon of butter in a pan over medium-high heat Add the shallots (if using) and mushrooms and sauté until dry and lightly browned.
Step 3
Remove the mushrooms from heat and set aside.
Step 4
Melt 1 tsp of butter in the pan, then add a galette.
Step 5
Break an egg into the center, sprinkle some cheese on top and add some sautéed mushrooms around it.
Step 6
Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes or until egg is done to your liking. Fold the galette in half or fold in the edges to form a square, then serve hot!
