Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the melted butter, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

Add the eggs one by one and mix using a whisk.

Add the baking powder and flour and mix until smooth.

Divide the batter into two bowls. In one of the bowls, add the sifted cocoa powder and mix.

Grease a loaf pan with butter and add the batter, alternating between both.

Using the end of a knife, mix the dough to add the marble effect.
Step 7
Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.

In the meantime, to make the frosting, melt the chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave.

Chop the almonds using a knife.
Step 10
Pour 3 tablespoons of oil into the melted chocolate. Add a pinch of salt and the chopped almonds and mix.
Step 11
Remove the cake from the oven and let it chill on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes.
Step 12
Pour the frosting on the cooled cake and enjoy!
