Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. In the mixing bowl of the Digicook, cream the softened butter and sugar together. Mix for 15 sec / speed 3.

Crème fraîche
Lemon
Egg
Flour (all-purpose)
Baking powder

Step 2

Next add in the eggs, a pinch of salt, the zest of 1 lemon, the flour, baking powder, crème fraîche, and poppy seeds (optional).

Step 3

Close the cover and program: speed 5 / 50 seconds.

Step 4

Grease the loaf tin and pour in the batter. Bake for 50 minutes at 180°C/350°F. When the cake is done, remove from the oven and let cool before serving.

Step 5

Bonus: If you have powdered sugar, you can make a glaze by mixing 100g of powdered sugar and the juice of 1/2 a lemon until you have a smooth mixture. Drizzle it on top of the cake, adding some extra lemon zest or poppy seeds to decorate it.
