We know this cheese seduces every kind of vegetable but with leeks it's especially great.
Oven, Stovetop, Pot (small), Colander, Baking dish
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C and put a big pot of water to boil. Cut the ends of the leeks then cut them in 10 to 15 cm sections so that they can get into your pan.
Step 2
Dip the leeks in the pot of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, chop the Reblochon into thin slices (0.5 cm).
Step 4
Once the leeks* are (pre)cooked, leave them to drain fully. Slice them in half lengthwise, then place them in a baking dish. *Check out our tips for this step
Step 5
Add the Reblochon slices on top, salt, pepper and bake for 20 minutes at 400 °F.
Step 6
Once the leeks are golden, remove from the oven and serve with a seasoned salad.
For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest mixing crème fraîche with mustard & a pinch of nutmeg & adding it on top of the leeks before adding the reblochon cheese.
