Step 1

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.

Step 2

In the large bowl, add the egg whites & beat with an electric mixer, until foamy & frothy.

Powdered sugar
Vanilla extract

Step 3

Add the lemon juice, powdered sugar & vanilla extract. Continue mixing, until the icing is stiff & shiny. For a looser icing, add a few drops of water, until the desired consistency is reached.

Step 4

Stir in a few drops of food coloring to the icing if desired. Add the icing to a piping bag & it's ready to use !
