recipe

Egg

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs & whisk them.

Flour (all-purpose)

Step 2

Add half of the flour & whisk until smooth. Incorporate the remaining flour little by little.

Milk (whole)

Step 3

Gradually pour in the milk & mix until smooth. Use between 300 ml and 400 ml of milk for 4 people, depending on the type of crêpes you'd like: 300 ml for thicker crêpes & up to 400 ml for thinner crêpes.

Sugar (granulated)

Step 4

Add the sugar & mix.

Butter (salted)

Step 5

Add the melted butter & a pinch of salt to the batter. Stir to combine. Tip: To avoid lumps, pass your batter through a fine sieve or blend it with an immersion blender!

Step 6

Lightly butter a hot pan & pour a ladle of batter. Tilt the pan to homogeneously spread the batter. Cook for 1-2 min, over medium heat, until the edges of the crêpe are lightly golden.

Step 7

Flip the crêpe & continue cooking for another min. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

Step 8

Serve with crêpes with sugar or the toppings of your choosing. Enjoy!
