Utensils

Stovetop, Frying pan, Pot (small)

recipe

Butter (salted)

Step 1

Melt the butter in the microwave or a saucepan. Set aside.

Egg

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs & whisk them.

Flour (all-purpose)

Step 3

Add half of the flour & whisk until smooth. Incorporate the remaining flour little by little.

Milk (whole)

Step 4

Slowly pour the milk, until a smooth texture is obtained. Use between 50ml (thick crêpes) & 70ml (thin crêpes) of milk per portion, depending on the texture of crêpes you'd like.

Butter (salted)

Step 5

Add the melted butter & stir to combine into a smooth batter without lumps. If you have lumps, sift the mixture.

Step 6

Lightly butter a hot pan & pour a ladle of batter on top. Swivel the pan to homogeneously spread the batter across.

Step 7

Cook for 1 -2 min, over medium heat until the edges of the crêpe are lightly golden. Flip the crêpe and cook for another min on the other side. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, without forgetting to lightly grease the pan between each crêpe !

Step 8

Serve with crêpes with the toppings of your choosing - e.g: jam, powdered sugar, butter, hazelnut spread, etc. Enjoy !
