Nothing quite like a homemade compote to please all the family!
Stovetop, Pot (small)
Step 1
Peel the apples, remove the core and any pips and cut them into small pieces.
Step 2
Add the apples to a saucepan with 50 ml water/person and the sugar (you can substitute with honey). Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes and stir regularly.
Step 3
After 15 minutes, mash the compote with a fork, potato masher or blender.
Step 4
Serve and enjoy!
