Milk (whole)
Honey

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave for 2 mins. Once it is warm, add the honey & stir until it has dissolved.

Flour (all-purpose)
Sugar (granulated)
Baking soda
Allspice (ground)

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk : the flour, sugar*, baking soda, all-spice, a pinch of salt & half a teaspoon of powdered ginger and ground cinnamon, if you have some. *Consultez nos tips pour cette étape

Milk (whole)

Step 3

Gradually stir in the milk with a whisk, until you have a smooth texture.

Step 4

Pour the batter into a loaf tin (we used a 29 x 10 cm dish here) and bake for 40 min at 180°C.

Step 5

Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Leave to cool before serving. Enjoy !
