Comté cheese

Step 1

Thinly slice the Comté cheese.

Egg

Step 2

In a bowl, add the eggs. Season with salt & pepper. Beat them with a fork.

Step 3

Melt a knob of butter in a pan over medium heat. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan & let them cook for 1 to 2 min.

Ham (deli slices)
Comté cheese

Step 4

Once the bottom of the omelet is golden brown, add the ham torn into pieces & the Comté. Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 min, gently breaking up the bottom of the omelet with a spatula to help it cook evenly, then fold it in half.

Salad (lamb's lettuce-arugula mix)

Step 5

Serve the French ham & cheese omelet on a plate with a side of salad dressed to taste. Enjoy!
