Start your Halloween evening with these deviled eggs decorated with olive spiders!
Stovetop, Pot (small)
Step 1
In a pot of boiling water, cook the eggs for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the olives in half lengthwise. Reserve one per egg, to form the bodies of the spiders. Cut the other halves into thin strips to make the spider legs.
Step 3
Once the eggs are cooked, transfer them directly to a bowl of iced water to cool them. Shell them.
Step 4
Cut the egg in half. Remove the yolk & place it in a bowl.
Step 5
Mash the egg yolks using a fork. Add the mayonnaise, salt and pepper, then mix to combine.
Step 6
Place the stuffing in the hollow of the egg whites.
Step 7
Arrange the olive halves in the center of the egg and add 4 thin slices on each side of the body to form the legs. Serve, it's ready!
